HOW IT WORKS

Simple from start to finish

01

Book & screen

Contact us and complete a brief health screening form online.

02

Medical approval

Our medical team reviews your screening and arranges prescription approval.

03

We come to you

Your nurse arrives at your home or workplace at the agreed time.

04

In good hands

60–90 min session.

Your nurse monitors you throughout the session in the comfort of your own environment.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

We want you to feel confident before you book. IV therapy is a clinical procedure, and your nurse will walk you through everything - including any risks such as bruising, discomfort, or the unlikely chance of a reaction - before treatment begins. Medical screening ensures the service is right for you; not every booking will proceed to treatment, and that's okay. We'd rather you get the right care.

If you experience any adverse effects after your session, seek medical attention if needed. Your nurse is present and trained to respond to any concerns during treatment itself.

ABOUT US

Registered Nurses

Founded by registered nurses committed to clinical standards

Emily and Sarah established Alter Infusions to deliver professional, nurse-led IV therapy with the clinical rigour these procedures require - without compromising access for those who need it.

Based in Lake Macquarie, we service Newcastle and the Hunter Region with mobile appointments to homes and workplaces.

Ready to get started?

Mobile appointments across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region. Every booking includes individual health screening and prescription approval - we take care of the whole process.

Services are provided only following individual medical screening and prescription approval by a registered medical practitioner. IV therapy is a clinical procedure and is not a substitute for medical treatment or professional healthcare advice. Not all individuals will be approved for treatment. Individual outcomes vary. All care is delivered by AHPRA-registered nurses. Alter Infusions operates within Australia's therapeutic goods regulatory framework.
